ALL DEPARTMENTS - Before describing the Records of the various Secretariat Departments, we shall discuss here briefly a different set of Records which are classified as ‘Secretariat (all Departments) Records’. These records do not belong to any particular Department. It is not known why these records were not included in any of the Secretariat Departments. They cover the period from 1646 to 1827.
